Cannon 814 shutter speeds?

If your 814 is NOT a lowlight version [i.e.XL] the the shutter speeds of 18fps is 1/40th and 24fps is 1/50th.
Hope this helps-cannot give you 12fps info though.

I bilieve the 814 has a 220 degree shutter so the shutter speed would not be 1/50 second. Would the manual have all of that information?

814 Electronic and 814 Auto Zoom is 150 (the Electronic can also do 75/37.5)

814 XL = 220/110/65

814 XL-S = 220/150

I have a cannon 814 autozoom with a broken meter. Does anybody know the shutter speeds at 12-18-24 and single frame so that i can use my light meter. Thanks

i always thought my electronic had a 170 degree shutter. i'm basing my exposures on tests because of light loss in the lens and the viewfinder, so to me it doesn't really matter, but i'm curious.

As far as Iam aware [naturally I will stand correction if necessary] the original concept of XL Low Light cameras on Super8 set the shutter specification at 220 degrees.I personally do not know of any less than this.Certainly the famous Elmo sound cameras were built to this standard.
